Frequently Asked Questions

How do I connect my Strava account?

After logging in, click the "Connect with Strava" button on your dashboard. You'll be redirected to Strava to authorise the connection. Once approved, your activities will begin syncing automatically.

What Strava data does GoAnd.Run access?

We request read and activity:read_all permissions. This allows us to import your activities (including pace, heart rate, cadence, elevation, and GPS data) to power coaching analysis. We never post to Strava or modify your data.

How do I disconnect Strava?

Go to your dashboard and click "Disconnect Strava" at the bottom of the page. This revokes the app's access to your Strava account immediately. You can also revoke access from Strava's app settings.

Is my data shared with anyone?

No. Your Strava data is only used within GoAnd.Run to provide coaching feedback. It is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising. Strava API tokens are encrypted at rest.

How does the AI coaching work?

After each run syncs from Strava, you can request AI coaching feedback. The AI analyses your activity data (zones, pace, heart rate, splits) against your training plan and provides personalised observations and recommendations.

Can I delete my account and data?

Yes. You can delete your account from your profile settings, which permanently removes all your data including imported activities, training plans, and coaching feedback. You can also email [email protected] to request data deletion.
